Extreme-Ink Exclusive Interview

Extreme-Ink talked with Venus Starr in an exclusive interview, where she talks about her life as an Internationally published tattooed model

What was your life like before professional modelling…

Circus Circus Circus – Complete circus junkie. However not as much now as i am modelling a lot more and producing etc. I still perform and it is my life however I’m not completely consumed and have started enjoying my modelling just as much.

How did you get your break…

When i was in LA a few years back i was cover girl for INK Fashion magazine, with a massive feature. This really broke the ice for me, i met so many amazing other models and rad photographers not to mention it was great exposure. I am not sure if this was my “break” but it was certainly a helping hand in the industry.

What has been the lowest point in your career for you…

Illness, not being able to do what i love. I am so physical and all i do involves my body. I have been through some real complications with my health this year and this has been mentally really full on. I go crazy when i cannot do anything, i really suck at resting. I would rather shoot mysef.

What has been the highest point in your professional career so far…

I have so many i really have been blessed! However, playing barbarella to an audience of over 150,000 in a season and wrestling a giant inflatable space monster was pretty wow! lol.

What would you say to an aspiring model if they asked you for career advice…

Stay humble! and focused don’t change who you are for anyone and no matter how many set backs you get just keep going! another door will open.

Describe yourself in one word…
